Journey 21:  Meets at 9am at C-Bay carpark on Sunday 19 July.  The theme for July is  ‘Embracing Stillness’.  Contact:  Ellen ph 027 772 3146.

Prayer Breakfast:  Purpose:  To launch our month of prayer.  Join us as we come together to pray for the soon to be established ‘Wayfinder’ role.  Saturday 1 August.  Breakfast served at 8am.  Afterwards, we will spend time in prayer until 9.15am.  If you have dietary requirements, please bring your own food.

Bible Society Quiz:   Will take place on Sun 26 July at 2pm at the Wilson St Baptist Hall. Teams of up to 4 persons. Please bring your Bible along with you.  Afternoon tea is provided. Cost is $5pp or $20 per family. Proceeds will go towards Literacy programmes in Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Liberia.

St Davids Union Church – Timaru:  75th Anniversary – 1951 – 2026.  You are invited to join us in celebrating in a service to be held at 9.30am on 2 August 2026 at the Enliven Centre in the Timaru Botanical Gardens.  (You can park and walk from Queen Street, or there is limited carparking, for those with mobility issues if you drive in the Queen St entrance to the Gardens, via right and follow the road around to the left where you will find a gate leading to the enliven Centre)

Resourcing for Others:  Today’s Bucket Mission Collection is for the Bible Society – (a society that is now over 2 centuries old.) Through your generosity we have also been able to make a small donation to this collection from the recent soup/pizza lunch profits.

Do take time to look at the collection of old bibles before you leave church today.

Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

  • Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
  • Hand cream and soap.
  • Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
  • Spreads
  • 750g or less blocks of cheese.
