Worship Services
We express our love for God in worship.
In worship we are drawn to our creator,
and God breathes into us new life.
Traditional Worship
At Trinity church we have the privilege or worshiping God in a beautiful building. We enjoy thoughtful preaching, wonderful organ music, and a worshipful liturgy.
Every Sunday, 9:30am
Contemporary Worship
With engaging preaching, a vibrant band and a wonderful children’s ministry, worship at St. Stephens is a delight whether you are 6 or 60.
Every Sunday, 10:30am with morning tea from 10.
We are all on a journey seeking to find meaning in a world that is vast and ever changing.
Journey 21 is where people gather and walk together on a Sunday morning to a particular place for a short time of readings and reflections relevant to the world we live in and then adjourn to a café for coffee/breakfast.
The idea of journeying together in the 21st century is at the centre of this and being connected to the splendour and wonder of our environment.
A theme is introduced at the beginning of the walk and people will discuss this theme as they journey along and then readings and reflections are shared at the ‘destination’.
Discussion may continue over coffee afterwards. The walking is relatively short and gentle.
If you wish to be part of this journey you are invited to gather at CBay car park, Te Weka Street, Timaru at 9.00am on the third Sunday of the month.
You may have opted out of church or never opted in but seek deeper meaning in your life, then Journey 21 may be for you. Everyone will be respected and accepted as we are all at a different stage of the journey.

In a Christian funeral we celebrate the life of our loved one, and we worship the God who promises new life in His eternal kingdom. It is our privilege to share with families and help them to grieve well. Our buildings can provide a worshipful environment for a gathering that is small and intimate, or for a large and public commemoration.
