Community Lunch:  There will be NO lunch in September.  The next lunches will be October and November.

Mission Project:  The Mission Project for October is CWS Pakistan.  Put your coins aside and bring along next Sunday.

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:   This ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in Room 1 at Trinity.  This is for men and women. $3.00 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. Rhythm Kids:  Meets at Trinity Hall every Tuesday during the school term from 10.00am—11.00am.  Contact Helen ph 684 6403 or 021 768 973.

Plant Sale Lucky Ticket:  Thank you to all who supported this.  The winners are:  Sam, Karen and Lauren.  All prizes have been claimed.

Thank you” and “three cheers” to Murray Facer for his efforts leading up to the Plant Sale and on the day.  We thank you for your energy, enthusiastic and able leadership.  “A good team always needs a good leader”- the Plant Sale wouldn’t have happened otherwise!

Alpine Presbytery Newsletter:  Keep up to date on what is happening in our Alpine Presbytery.  A few copies of the Newsletter are being placed on the table in Foyers each week.  Pick up a copy, you might find something of interest in it.  If you are not on our email list and would like a copy emailed, please contact our office  phone 686 0981.

Bible Society Safari Saturday 15 October:

If the weather is fine, we will meet at: Life Church at 11.30am for car sharing to Geraldine.

12pm -12.45 pm meet at Todd Park at the picnic area for lunch (bring your own). We then will go to Peel St Chapel, St Andrews, St Mary’s and back to St Andrews for  afternoon tea.

Wet weather option: Meet 12.30pm at Life Church with your lunch in your tummy. We will then start at Talbot St Chapel, St Mary’s, Peel St Chapel, Catholic Church and St Andrews, where we will have afternoon tea.   Bring your friends. Cost $5pp.

Operation Christmas Child Boxes:  Thank you once again to those who supported this last year  We will be supporting the project this year. Each box is to contain for boys and girls aged from 2-14 pears old:

*  “Wow” item or toy                                                      *  Clothing item

*  Personal care items                                                   *  School supplies

*  Accessories ie hair accessories, jewellery, flashlights

The boxes from New Zealand generally go to Asia or a Pacific Island country.  You are all invited to support this by providing items as above or make a contribution towards

travel costs which is $10.00 per box. If you wish to fill your own box please remember to include the transport cost of $10.00. A box will be in each foyer for you to put in the items or leave the donation. Date for collection is 16 October 2022.  For further information contact Judith 688 6004.
