AGM:  Our Annual General Meeting will be held on  29 August.  At Trinity after the  Service. Get your nomination forms in for Parish Council Members by the 3 August. Thank you.

Community Lunch, 27 July at St Stephens Church at 12 noon:  It’s time to book your lunch date for this 2 course meal, $10 charge, payable at the door.  Come and   enjoy a time of fellowship.   Contact Bev ph 686 1207, Sid ph 684 3478 or the office ph 686 0981.

Jam Session:  Please Note:  We will meet on Wednesday, 28 July 7pm‑8.30pm at St Stephens.  If you play an instrument and would like to play in the music group, come along.  Contact:  Brent ph 686 1382.

Do your bread tags end up in the rubbish bin?   Instead, help save the environment by   dropping them in the designated jar in the foyer.  Money raised will provide wheelchairs in South Africa.

Alpine Presbytery Newsletter:  Keep up to date on what is happening in our Alpine          Presbytery.  A few copies of the   Newsletter are being placed on the table in Foyers each week.  Pick up a copy, you might find something of interest in it.  If you are not on our email list and would like a copy emailed, please contact our office  ph    686 0981.

Plant Sale is on 18 September:  Now is the time to pot up those plants for the Plant Sale. Please look around your garden (or your friend’s garden!) to find cuttings to pot up, so they can grow roots by 18 September. Empty pots are also  welcome, but we MUCH prefer the full ones! Live Streaming:  Every Sunday morning at the 10.30am service at St Stephens

Bible Society Quiz:  A family-friendly event for young and old! No prior study needed – just bring Bibles. Sunday 25th July, 2pm – 3pm, Wilson Street Baptist Hall. Bring & Share Lunch starts at 1pm for those who love to eat and fellowship. We’re raising funds for Bibles for Refugees & Migrants. $5 per person, $20 per family. Either pre-arrange your church team (up to 6) or come along and join a team. NZ COVID Tracer poster:  This is on our entrance doors. Scan the poster with the NZ COVID Tracer App to keep track of where you have been, or fill in the Contract Tracer forms on the table in Foyers to protect yourself and your community.  Ministry of Health.

Food Bank Items:  Suggestions from Family Works. This is as well as the usual general sort of items: Deodorants, shampoo and conditioner for both men and women. Hand cream and soap. Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.  Also spreads and 750g or less blocks of cheese.  Thank you.
