Mission Project:  August’s Mission Project is Supporting Eatwell.  Thank you for your donation.

Any notice of motion for the 2020 Annual General Meeting must be submitted to the office by Tuesday 4 August 2020 to enable the Parish Council to consider its including in the agenda.

Annual Reports:  These are required by Thursday 6 August.  Please drop copy in to the Church Office or email:   oneoffice@timarupres.org.nz

Link Deadline:  Please send copy for the Aug/Sept Link to:  link@timarupres.org.nz or drop into the Church Office by Friday 7 August.

Parish Council Nomination Forms:  These are on the table in the Foyer.  Parish   Council calls for nominations for four Parish Council members to be elected at the AGM on 30 August for a three year term.  Murray Facer and Joy Elliott have come to the end of their three year term and are eligible to be re-nominated.     Nomination forms need to be returned to the office by Wednesday 12 August.

Good Companions: At our July Meeting we elected to disband due to dwindling numbers. We decided to have a final Get Together on Thursday 13 August 2pm at Harlau House. Former Members are most welcome. For attendance please ring Jan 688 1825.

Potting up plants: Please get potting up plants for our Annual Plant Sale on 5 September.  There is still potting mix on the trailer at the back of the Church. Pots are available in the Church Foyer thank you

Can you help?..Alongside the Annual Plant Sale on 5 September we will again be   running a ‘Baking Sales Table’.  Given the amazing support we received last year, and knowing you spent lots of time       perfecting your  baking skills during the COVID lockdown, we know you would love to try out your new recipes or share your perfected “favourite” goodies with us all. Thank you for your support:-) Any    queries – contact Sandra (03) 6883619

NZ COVID Tracer poster is on our entrance doors. Scan the poster with the NZ COVID Tracer App to keep track of where you have been to help protect yourself and your community.  Ministry of Health.

Operation Christmas boxes: Thank you once again to those who supported this last year. The Organisers of are still planning that they will be able to deliver the boxes so we will once again be supporting the project. You might like to start collecting items to fill the box. These are: something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love, something special and something for personal hygiene.  A collection bin will be placed in foyers in each church and a supply of boxes will be obtained.
