Relay for Life Update: Saturday 9 March 2019 10am – 10pm
Six days to go………….We are on the countdown for our TPP team’s participation in 2019 Relay for Life fundraiser – we thank everyone who has supported the cause with sponsorship of team members. Don’t forget the donation buckets are at both Entrance foyers – feel free to drop in your loose change. Every little bit helps!
Feel free to join our team for a walk, a chat, a cuppa over the twelve hour event. We won’t all be walking at once, so for those resting their tired legs, or patching up a blister – an encouraging word from a supporter might be just the right ingredient to keep them motivated!
On the seaward side of the relay track, look out for Team 8 with our TPP banner sitting alongside a Cancer Society gazebo, decorated with blue and green ribbons….. behind which will be a campervan adorned the same! Drive-in access is available via the boardwalk car park, onto the grass area.
Don’t forget if you have had a cancer diagnosis, or have supported someone with cancer, you are invited to join the Relay opening lap at 10am – celebrating your courage and strength to fight back. A cuppa will be available afterwards. Ph 6880124 (Cancer Society) to register, for catering purposes.
THANKS AGAIN FOR SUPPORTING US!
