Mission Project:  The Retiring Offering and the Bucket Mission last week raised $292.60 supporting the cost of freight for the Christmas Boxes this year.

Operation Christmas Boxes:  Thank you once again to those who supported this last year.  We will once again be  supporting the project this year. Each box is to contain something to wear,  something to play with, something for school, something to love, something    special and something for personal hygiene for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. The boxes from New Zealand generally go to an Asia or Pacific Island   country.  You are all invited to support this by providing items or make a donation   towards the transport costs of $10 a box. A box will be in each foyer for you to put in the items or leave the donation. Some OCC shoe boxes will be obtained. For    further information contact Judith Begg Ph 688 6004.

The Community Club:  Meet Tuesdays, 1.30-3.30pm at St Stephens for Cards 500,    Indoor Bowls, Scrabble & Art.  New     members welcome. Contact:  Sid & Hazel 684 3478.

Presbyterian Women Evening Group:  Meet Tuesday 11 September 7.30pm at      37 Elizabeth Street Timaru.  Margaret and Gary will speak and show photos of their recent trip to the USA.  Contact:  Margaret ph 684 3510.

Good Companions:  Meet at St Stephens on Thurs 13 Sept at 2pm.  Doreen Nixon will speak about “Happenings On Holiday”

Plant Sale, 15 September, 9am at St Stephen’s:  Wide variety of plants ~ Cake stall ~ Morning tea ~ South School Pasifika Group

Presbyterian Women’s Lunch Group meets Wed., 19 September in Room 1, Trinity Hall at 12.30pm.   Please bring lunch food to share.  Sales table.  Speaker:  Jannette    Aldridge – Music Teacher.  All women are welcome to join with us.

Helpers NEEDED for the Plant Sale:  If you are able to help out on Friday 14 with set up and /or Saturday helping to sell. Please ph Murray on 686 1629
