Mission Group have two appeals running: A “Toiletries Appeal” – For the Women’s Refuge, running to Sunday 12  November.  The following items that the Women’s  Refuge have suggested for inclusion are:  Soap, face cloth, tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, tampons, and playdoh for the children (which they use as a therapy tool).  Sponge Bags are not required as the Refuge has a supply of these at present.

Food Bank—When you buy a supermarket “special” item perhaps you could buy two, an extra one for the Food Bank.  Your donation doesn’t necessarily need to be a foodstuff item, it can be a cleaning product, or a toiletry item like toothpaste. The need in our community is great, and your help would be really appreciated.

Christian Superstore  – 102 Stafford Street

Just as God’s creation is diverse. These can be seen in the 2018 calendars that we also have in store. Calendars that can fit into those small envelopes with those Christmas cards that are sent overseas. Yes we have those too. The Bible Society 12 card packs are now in store with both Traditional and NZ views. This may seem early to recommend Christmas stock but cards have a bit of habit of selling early.  So come and view the options. Look and see the talent that we have throughout the world and the blessings that we have in this store.

Don’t forget we are open until 5 pm and between 10 and 2pm on Saturdays.

Giving  Everything that we have is a gift from God.
