POSTPONED – The Mother’s Day Pizza Lunch has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.  It will now be held at a later date.

Bucket Mission:  The recipient for this morning’s Bucket Mission and the proceeds from the Harvest Tables for May are going to ‘Christians against Poverty’.  We will be raiding the congregation of their coins/notes during the service.  Join in the bucket of fun.

Journey 21:  Meets at 9am at C-Bay carpark on Sunday 17 May.  The theme is ‘The Narrow and Winding Journeys of Life’.  Contact:  Ellen ph 027 772 3146.

Pentecost Prayer Initiative:  Join with the church from across Timaru for an awesome night of prayer and worship. 7pm – 8.30pm on Wednesday 13 May at Wilson Street Baptist Church, 17 Wilson Street, Timaru.  Pray for our city, our nation, our world.  Hosted by the Timaru Christian Ministers Association.  www.24-7prayer.nz

Christian Superstore:  The website:  ChristianSuperstore.co.nz  is an online shop for what is available within their Cantabrian stores.

Church Lunch Out:  You are invited to join us for lunch at the Punjab Restaurant, 44 Stafford Street at 12 noon on Sunday 17 May.  Basic meal is $15.  A clipboard will be passed around the congregation today.

Presbyterian Women Lunch Group:  Meet Wednesday 20 May at the Wai-iti Road Worship Centre at 12.30pm.  Shared Lunch.  Sales Table.  Guest Speaker – Mary Stocker, owner operator of ‘Pampered Pets’ Boarding Kennels/Cattery/Grooming, having been in business for 24 years.

Family Works Food Bank:  The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.
