Combined Services at Trinity at 10am:  From 5 October there will be a Combined Service at Trinity, on the first Sunday of every month.

The Resourcing for Others Group:  Last Sunday’s Bucket Mission raised $232.30 for the Nelson/Marlborough flood relief appeal. Our group would like thank all those who responded to this very needy appeal.

Timaru Presbyterian Women’s Lunch Group:  Held at the Wai-iti Road Worship Centre on Wednesday 20 August at 12.30pm commencing with a shared Lunch.  Sales Table.

Guest Speaker: Donna  Lindsay (Fire Dept) “How to operate safely electrical items eg electric blankets,  plugs, cords  and batteries etc.” Apologies or rides please contact Dianne 686 0440, Dawn 686 0595 or Robyn 688 1948.

Operation Christmas Child boxes:  The parish has been supporting this for many years. Judith Begg and Linda Fraser have been leading this but they are no longer able to continue doing this. If there is anyone willing to lead this please speak to Judith at church or phone 688 6004.

Monthly Lunch:  Sunday 17 August 12 noon.  This time at “The Old Bank” Cnr Stafford and Church Streets.  A clip board will be handed around again during the Service to add your name to or phone the Church office      686 0981 or Ken 027 935 9587 by Wednesday 13 August.

Pancake Prayer Breakfast::  Saturday 30 August 8am-9am in the Foyer at St Stephens.

Quiet Time with Contemplative Prayer:

Wednesday 20 August in the Chapel at St Stephens Church 6.30 to 7.30pm.

Budget Approval:  A copy of the Budget will be available in the Church Foyer at St Stephens.

New World Stickers for Smeg Kitchenware:

Please drop your surplus stickers into the box on the table in the Foyer.  The stickers will be used to redeem items that will be given to Family Works for allocation.

A Winter Warmer Lunch:  Gather, eat and chat on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month.  Next lunches are August 13 & 27.  Cost $5. 12 noon at the Trinity Community Centre.  Come by yourself or with friends.  To book please contact:  Janie ph 021 0279 3076 or Helen ph 021 768 973.

The Community Club:  Community Club meet Tuesdays, 1.00-3.30pm at St Stephens for Cards 500.  New members welcome.

Women’s Christian Convention 13 September:  This year we have three local speakers:  Leigh Greyling, Adele Southerton, and Heather Moot sharing from the encounters Jesus had with people, as recorded in Mark’s gospel.  To be held at:  La Vida, 34A Hansons Lane, Christchurch from 9.15am – 3.15pm.  For further details, please see the leaflet on the table in the Foyer.

Plant & Bake Sale – Saturday 13 September at the St Stephens Church complex:
