Mission Project: Last Sunday we raised funds to assist with the posting of Christmas Boxes. We raised a total of $179.50. Thank you for your donations.
New World Stickers : Collecting again for Family Works. Please leave in both Church Foyers or at the Office.
Operation Christmas Child Boxes: Just imagine bringing joy to a young person on Christmas day when they receive an Operation Christmas Box. This may be the first gift a child has ever received. This parish will once again be supporting the project this year.
Each box is to contain:
- Something to wear,
- Something to play with,
- Something for school,
- Something to love,
- Something special
- Something for personal hygiene
for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. If you wish to fill a box please ensure you cover the transport cost.
Otherwise you can provide goods or a donation towards the transport costs and place in the box in the foyer of each church. Items are required by Sunday 15 October. For further information contact Judith Ph 688 6004.
Scissors: Lost one pair of old but favourite scissors at the Plant Sale. Please contact Murray at 686 1629.
Jam Session: NO Jam Session this month
The Community Club: Tuesdays, 1.30-3.30pm at St Stephens for Cards 500 and Indoor Bowls. New members welcome. Contact: Hazel 684 3478.

Bible Society Safari—Saturday 28 October, starting at 1.30pm at Connect Church in Redruth, then going to the Tongan Wesleyan Church in Otipua Rd, to the Basilica and finish at St Mary’s, where we will have afternoon tea.
College Road & Wai-iti Road Rosters for DATA & SOUND: We would like more Volunteers for these two positions. Training will be available. Please phone the office 686 0981.
Presbyterian Women Lunch Group: Will be held on Wednesday 18 October at St Stephens, Wai-iti Road 12.30pm commencing with a shared lunch. Sales Table. Guest Speakers: Valarie Watkinson (Team Leader) Therapy Pets Service with Volunteer Sue and dog Ruby. The Pets Service is of great benefit to those in Residential Care, Hospitals, Healthcare Facilities and Schools etc. Pets have a very calming manner for both young and old. As you are aware fruit and vegetable prices are increasing, and the demand for budget priced food is on the rise. If you can help by donating any surplus fruit or vegetables from your garden the Eatwell team would be very appreciative.
