I don’t know about you but it feels like a really long time since we have “gathered” together in this way in person. Geoff New will be joining us for the weekend and he will be facilitating a reflective space on the “Spirituality of Remembrance”. Alongside that we will also be hearing from a number of people involved in different projects and spaces around the Presbytery. A reminder also that you don’t need to be an elder or ordained minister to come along to our Gatherings, anyone is welcome to join us.
Hanmer Springs on the 25th – 27th September Heather Simpson and Barbara MacMillan will be leading a guided prayer retreat This will be based on the themes of Hunger and Thirst, with the key verse being Psalm 107:9. This is a wonderful opportunity to be taking some time out before we head into the Christmas season and Barbara and Heather are both qualified Spiritual Directors.
The guided retreat is open to anyone in leadership in your church or parish, so if you know of someone who might be keen to come along please let them know it’s happening.
Due the nature of the retreat this is limited to 12 people and food and accommodation will be provided. To attend register at: https://alpinepresbytery.org/guided-retreat/ and fill in the registration form
