Thought For The Week 27 June 2021

Welcome to our services today and a special welcome if you are visiting. As you read this Catherine and I will be enjoying the slightly warmer climate of Auckland as we take a mid-winter 10-day break from our work. We return on Monday the 5th, in time to celebrate refurbished kitchen at the Trinity Centre with a special morning tea for the trades people and those involved in getting this project off the ground. The new kitchen has already been put to good use in the production of cheese rolls- both Girl’s Brigade and the Bible Society using it as a production centre for their fund-raisers.
We are excited to once again offer a school holiday programme for primary aged children at St Stephens from 12-14 July. The theme this year is “I Wonder”, as together we wonder “What makes my story unique?”, “What gifts has God given me?”, and, “How can I learn from others?” exploring what makes us unique and special to God. This programme is always popular and places fill quickly so get in early and register at our website https://www.timarupres.org.nz/whats-on/
Next Sunday we welcome Rev Shona Bettany to preach at both services. Shona always brings a fresh perspective and lively spirit. I’m sure you will be blessed by her ministry.
Stay warm!
Brent Richardson
