Invitation to all women to Saint John’s AAW Hospitality meeting: Tuesday 15 June at 2pm. They meet in the Anniversary Room in the Church Hall at the rear of the church. Speaker: Margaret Bruce from the Grandparents raising grandchildren group. There will be a sales table and afternoon tea will be served following the talk.
Presbyterian Women Lunch Group: The June Meeting will be our Mid Winter Lunch Date to be held on Wednesday 16 June at “The village Café”, Highfield Village Mall. Members please be at the Café by 11.45am before the midday rush. All Ladies of the Parish welcome. Numbers attending to Dawn 686 0595 no later than Monday 14 June. Prayer Workshop: Saturday 19 June from 10am to 12noon in the Church at St Stephens. This is a workshop mainly for those taking the Prayers for Others in Church, but also for people wanting to deepen their understanding on prayer. Please put your name and contact details on the clipboard being circulated during the service this morning.

Food Bank Items: Suggestions from Family Works. This is as well as the usual general sort of items: Deodorants, shampoo and conditioner for both men and women. Hand cream and soap. Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours. Also spreads and 750g or less blocks of cheese. Thank you.
Bible Society Cheese-roll fund raiser: We will make our favourite cheese-rolls again this winter. Delivery will be on Sunday 20 June and Sunday 4 July. We will make them on Saturday 19 June and Saturday 3 July. As the price of cheese and bread went up we are selling them now for $7.00 a doz, 3 doz for $20.00 and 4 doz for $25.00. 5 doz for $30.00 Please order, for the Sunday 4 July delivery date, in church or from Evi (phone 684 5399, email mama@newfrankland.org) or through the office.
