Mission Project:  Last Sunday we raised $207.10 for May’s Mission Project, raising funds for Family Works—socks, gloves & slippers.   Thank you for your donations.

Journey 21:  Meets at C-Bay carpark, 9am, Sunday 16 May.  The theme for May is ‘The Kingdom of God’.  All welcome.  Contact:  Ellen  ph  03 685 6126.

Presbyterian Women:

Lunch Group Wed 19 May at  St Stephens starting at 12.30pm with a shared Lunch. Guest Speaker:  Briony Woodnorth of the T.D.C advising on updated requirements for items being placed in the Otto. Please support the sales table as proceeds help within our community. All Ladies of the Parish welcome. Apologies or rides required please contact Dianne  686 0440 or Robyn 688 1948.

Evening Group:  Meet at Margaret’s home at 37 Elizabeth  Street on Tuesday 11 May at 7pm. All most welcome. Enquiries to Margaret 684 3510.

Bible Society Prayer Day: As the 9 May is a Sunday and also Mothers Day, we will have the prayer meeting on Monday 10 May at 12-1pm at the Bible Chapel in Church Street (former Trinity West). Bring your own lunch, tea & Coffee are provided.

Youth Group: Meets Sundays 5.30-7.30pm at St Stephens for Tea, Games & Term planning.  For more details, please contact Margaret ph 688 8840.

College Road duty Roster for June/July/Aug  If you are NOT available to be on the roster over the next 3 months.  Please    reply to Carol 686 0981  by Wed, 19 May.

Isabel’s Study Group—Has finished until the first week in September.  They meet in the    summer months only.  Re-start on first week of September until the end of  November, then start in February to end of April each year.

Jam Session:  Meet Wednesday, 19 May 7pm‑8.30pm at St Stephens.  If you play an instrument and would like to play in the music group, come along.  Contact:  Brent ph 686 1382.

Buy & Supply: Today is the final day for our tables for this season, and they will resume again in the spring. Our final humanitarian project was “Christian World Service –    Water Tanks for Uganda” and the         combined amount of $244.10 was raised.

Food Bank Items:

Suggestions from Family Works. This is as well as the usual general sort of items: Deodorants, shampoo and conditioner for both men and women. Hand cream and soap.  Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.   Also spreads and 750g or less blocks of cheese.  Thank you.

Mission Projects:  This month there will be two appeals:

23 May—Special Mission Appeal to ‘aid India’s Covid 19 crisis.’

6 June—Our regular date which will go towards ‘Child Rescue’ in places such as Maynmar.

Invitation to all women of the Parish:  The Catholic Women’s League extends a warm     invitation to our members to join them for their W.U.C.W.O. Day (World Union Catholic Women’s Organisation) on Thursday 20 May in the Holy Family Parish Centre,    Craigie Avenue.  (South side of Basilica.  New building).  They look forward to our company.

Live Streaming:  Every Sunday morning at the 10.30am service at St Stephens.
