Mission Project: This morning we will be raising funds for the Aoraki Health Shuttle, which is a new service here. This aims to relieve pressure on busy ambulance staff to help local residents get to important health appointments in Christchurch
Presbyterian Women
- Good Companions: 11 July at 2pm in St Stephens lounge. Speaker: Rosie Staite will speak on her work as a Celebrant and her new book.

Lunch Group: Meets at Trinity, 17 July. at 12.30pm. Speaker: Jan Maxwell-Hey, speaking on her train trip around the top of the South Island. Bring finger food to share and something for the sales table. All Welcome
Cultural Dinner: We are off to Sri Lanka on Saturday 13 July. Tickets are available at the office at $15pp to be purchased by 12pm on Thursday 11 July. Surplus money raised is to go into fundraising.

The Mission Group’s winter knitting project will finish on Sunday 14 July. Any unfinished garments can be placed in one of the food bank baskets in either church foyer, to be delivered to Family Works. A big thank you to all our enthusiastic knitters!
New Request: The Hospital Chaplain at Christchurch Hospital is asking for little knitted teddy bears for their Neo Natal unit. If you would like to help with this worthwhile project you can find patterns and wool in the foyers of both churches.
The Bible Society of Timaru presents. QuizTime! A new family-friendly event for young and old! No prior study needed – just bring Bibles. Sunday 14th July, 2pm – 3pm, Wilson Street Baptist Hall. Bring & Share Lunch starts at 1pm for those who love to eat and fellowship. We’re raising funds for Bibles in South East Asia. $5 per person, $20 per family. Yoga for Seniors. Pavithra Ravi, a Rhythm Kids mum, is a trained yoga teacher specialising in Yoga for seniors and has offered to run classes at Trinity Community Centre on Thursdays from 1.30pm – 3pm. This is for men and women. Would you like to attend these classes? This is not an ‘on the floor’ class. Starting Thursday 25th July. Gold Coin Donation. TP Kids Playgroup: Another Timaru Presbyterian Community Outreach has begun. Led by a Rhythm Kids mum and early childhood educator Kirsty McIntyre, we need someone to make a Tee Pee and someone to make and paint some planks to be used for the play and learn group.
