Resourcing for Others Bucket Mission:  Last Sunday’s Bucket Mission raised $344.60 for the Cancer Society. A big thank you to all our contributors to this very worthwhile cause.

Weekly prayer meetings (about 30 mins):

Sunday:  9am, The Chapel

Tuesday  9am, Room 2, Trinity Community Centre

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:  This is a ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in the Hall at the Trinity Community Centre. Plant and Baking Sale:  Thank you all for the money donations for the Baking stall, for the delicious baking and for the plants for the plant sale.  Many hands make light work.

Opihi Safari – Saturday 17 October at 2pm:  The Bible Society Timaru Action Group are holding a fundraiser.  Join us as we travel the Opihi River.  Exploring the history and churches that have inspired the local   community.

The safari by car will begin at the newly built St Mary’s Catholic Church at 30 Wilkin Street, Pleasant Point. Journeying to St David’s at Raincliff then finishing with St Alban’s Anglican for afternoon tea.

Cost $10 per person or $20 per family.

Operation Christmas Boxes:  There is a sample of a Christmas box and contents that can be bought from me for $20. Box contains hat, drink bottle, large notebook, tog bag, teddy, stress ball, Christmas card, pencil case with x12 coloured pencils, x6 pens, x3 pencils, x2 small notebooks, rulers, scissors, rubber, cellotape, pencil sharpener, highlighter.

Buy the $20 box and a few special items.   Or   take an empty box and fill it yourself.

There will be a big box in the foyer for people to donate items that I can use to     complete boxes with.

Several ways for people to be involved in this valuable project.  I have heard that one in five kids who receive a box choose to know more about Jesus.
