Bible Society Cheese Rolls:  It is cheese-roll time again.

Brown or white bread is $8 per doz $30 for 4 doz; 1 doz Molenberg is $9 and $35 for 4 doz.  We are making the cheese-rolls on Sat 13 June and Sat 27 June from 9am onward at St John’s Anglican Church kitchen,125 Wai-iti Rd. You may pick up your order on these Saturday afternoons or at the next day at St Stephen’s church after the service.

Praying the Everyday:  From gumboots to colours and dots.  A day of quiet reflection and contemplative prayer led by Barbara Sampson at St Stephen’s church on Saturday 20 June from 9.30am to 3.00pm.  Bring your Bible, journal, lunch, a koha and a colourful scarf.

Resourcing for Others:

Harvest Table sales will finish at the end of this month (31 May), and will resume again when our gardens are flourishing again.

Bucket Mission recipient for June will be the ‘40 hour Famine’.

Mother’s Day Lunch A new name and date has been found for our lunch. We are now calling it our ‘Shortest Day Pizza lunch’, and it is planned for Sunday 21 June.  Cost by donation.

If you are prepared to make a pot of soup for this lunch please talk to Carol 688 8025 or Margaret 021 022 19770.

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:  This is a ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in the Hall at the Trinity Community Centre. This is for men and women. $3 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. Would you like to attend these classes? Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the             following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.
