Bucket Mission: 

Bucket Mission today will be raising funds for Water Safety.  During the service we will be raiding the congregation of their loose coins/notes. Join in the Bucket of Fun.

Holiday Photo Competition

*  REMINDER  *  Next Sunday (15th March) will be the final day for entries in our Holiday Photo Competition. At morning tea the judging and prize giving will take place. Remember – you still have a few days to get your entry in!!

A Lenten Series of evening reflections.

As we move towards Easter, we are pleased to offer a contemplative reflection and prayer Lenten series. Join us at 6:30pm this Thursday—12 March in the foyer at St Stephens.

This reflection could be done at home (if you are unable to attend). A flyer is available with this week’s theme and some ideas to ‘spark your journey’. You can tailor the session as you wish: as long as you want (perhaps 30-60 minutes), and make it special for you e.g. lighting a candle at the start.

It would be helpful to have a journal, a pen, a quiet place and your favourite Bible.

Bible Society Coffee and Dessert Evening:

Saturday 14 March at 7 pm at the Church St Bible Chapel, 213 Church Street.  Join us for a special evening with Steve McRobie, Relationships Director, who will be sharing about the missional work and impact of Bible Society New Zealand.  Cost is $10 per person and $25 for a   family.  Proceeds will go to Bibles for Girls and Boys Brigade NZ.

Journey 21:

Meets at 9.30am, on Sunday 15 March, meeting at Talbot Forest car park at top of Totara Street, Geraldine.  The theme is ‘Celebrating the Forests’, in honour of    International Day of Forests on 21 March.  If you would like directions, or need a ride please contact:  Ellen ph 027 772 3146.

The Community Club:

Presbyterian Women’s Lunch Group

March Meeting will be held at the Wai-iti Road Worship Centre on Wednesday 18 March at 12.30pm starting with a shared lunch. Sales table. Guest Speaker will be Carolyn Sengelow speaking on “Living with Vision Loss”

Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.
