Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:This is ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in the Hall at the Trinity Community Centre. This is for men and women. $3 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. Would you like to attend these classes? A Lenten Series of evening reflections.As we move towards Easter, we are pleased to offer a contemplative reflection and prayer Lenten series. Join us at 6:30pm on the Thursday evenings in March (5 – 26), in the foyer at St Stephens.This reflection could be done at home (if you are unable to attend). We will have a flyer available with the theme of the week and some ideas to ‘spark your journey’, in the foyer on the Sunday before. You can tailor the session as you wish: as long as you want (perhaps 30-60 minutes), and to make it special for you e.g. lighting a candle at the start. It would be helpful to have a journal, a pen, a quiet place and your favourite Bible.Ask Catherine if you would like more details.
Family Works Food Bank: The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:
- Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
- Hand cream and soap.
- Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
- Spreads
- 750g or less blocks of cheese.
