Bucket Mission:

The Bucket Mission this month is for  the Family Works Programme, raising funds to support “Grandparents raising Grandchildren”.  Join in the Bucket of Fun.

‘Joyful in Hope’ Prayer Walk: 

An updated map, in the foyer, is ready for you to colour in the streets where you have walked and prayed.  Lets get this city covered.

AGM:

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 30 November. The AGM    booklet will be in the Church Foyer on the 16 November.

Church Lunch Out:

You are invited to join us for lunch at The Bay Hill Brewery Bar (Monteiths), 54 The Bay Hill at 12 noon on Sunday 16 November.  Contact Neville with    numbers on phone 021 127 0975 by Wednesday 12 November.

Journey 21:

Meet C-Bay carpark, 9am, Sunday 16 November.  The theme for November is ’Practicing Gratitude’.  All welcome.

The Community Club:

Quiet Time with Contemplative Prayer:  Wednesday 19 November 6.30-7.30pm, in the Chapel at St Stephens. Contact Catherine 686 1382.

Presbyterian Womens Lunch Group:

The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Wednesday 19 November at Bennys Again at Noon. This is as usual the last meeting for the year.

Please confirm your attendance to one of the ladies below by Monday 17 November.

Knitters:

The collection of colourful little beanies for the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia   finishes at the end of November. These  little beanies are great TV knitting, and  also a great way to use scraps of double knitting wool. There is wool and patterns in the foyer.

From the ‘Resourcing for Others’ group:

  • Harvest Table:

A big thank you to all the contributors to last month’s Harvest Table – we raised $117 for the Fred Hollows Foundation. The final Harvest Table will be raising funds for the ‘Timaru Community Christmas Lunch’ event to be held in the Caroline Bay Hall. Let’s make it a bumper donation!

Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully receives general sorts of items and can include the following:

  • Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
  • Hand cream and soap.
  • Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
  • Spreads
  • 750g or less blocks of cheese.

Lost Property:

If you have lost something at one of our church complexes, please check with the Office as sometimes items are handed in.
