Joyful in Hope’ Prayer Walk:
An updated map, in the foyer, is ready for you to colour in the streets where you have walked and prayed. Lets get this city covered
Bucket Mission Sunday 12 October:
This month we are raising funds for the Christian Blind Mission. Put your coins/notes aside and bring along next week and join in the bucket of fun.
Operation Christmas Child: Last day to return these boxes to the Foyer is Sunday 19 October. Just two weeks left to fill the last two boxes in the foyer. Each box is to contain a fun toy, clothing, school supplies, hygiene item and a “wow” item for boys & girls ages 2-14 years. Please include the transport cost of $12.50 if you fill your own box.

Family Works Food Bank:
The Food bank gratefully general sorts of items and can include the following:
- Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
- Hand cream and soap.
- Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
- Spreads
- 750g or less blocks of cheese.
Prior Warning:
A special Morning Tea is to take place on Sunday 12 October following the service. Keep this date free!

Grapevine Magazine: There are several copies of the Grapevine Magazine on the table in the Foyer. There are lots of interesting articles in it. Take and read.
Church Lunch Out:
You are invited to join us for lunch at Schnitz & Co, 164 Stafford St, 12.30pm on Sunday 19 October. There will be a clipboard passed around during this mornings service for you to sign-up.
Presbyterian Women Lunch Group:
The monthly meeting of the Lunch Group will be held on Wednesday, 15 October at 12.30pm in the St Stephens Foyer, commencing with a shared lunch. Sales Table. Guest Speakers – Two members from the Timaru Creative Fibre Club telling of its history and being part of a nationwide organization. Samples of items by members will be displayed. This is the final meeting for the year. November is Christmas lunch out. Ideas welcome. Apologies or rides please contact: Dianne 686 0440, Dawn 686 0595 or Robyn 688 1948.
Bible Society Church Safari – Saturday 18 October at 2pm:
Meet at Arowhenua Holy Trinity Church (parking on Huirapa St, off the main highway). Please meet on the roadside outside the church grounds.
Come and join the Bible Society Action group of Timaru and learn the history of the Temuka Anglican churches. We will follow the journey to Waihi and Temuka finishing with an afternoon tea at St Peter’s Anglican Church.
Cost is $10 per person and $20 per family. Proceeds are going to Braille and Audio bibles in Ecuador, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
Please come and bring your friends and family to this interesting afternoon.
