Service at Trinity at 10am:  From 5 October there will be a Service at Trinity, on the first Sunday of every month.

Plant & Bake Sale – Saturday 13 September at 9am at St Stephens Church complex:

The Hall will be open from 9am for people to drop their plants off.

Also:  Helpers needed to sell the plants on the day.

Can you help!!  LEUCADENDRONS and PROTEAS are needed for our famous     posies that are sold at our Plant Sale. Even a small number would be appreciated. The posies will be made early on Friday    morning, so the flowers would need to delivered to Joy’s home on Thursday 12 September. Ph 686 1656 or 027 372 7449 Joy’s address is.  46 Morgan’s Road

Bucket Mission:  During the service we will be raiding the congregation of their loose coins and notes, raising funds for the new Cancer Centre in Langdons Road, Christchurch.  Join in the bucket of fun.

Baking Sales Table:

Alongside the Annual Plant Sale on Saturday 13 September we will again be running our popular Baking Sales Table.  Given the amazing array of goods we received last year from you very talented bakers and cooks we would love you to “tempt our tastebuds” again with your favourite treats – whether it be sweet or savoury baked goods, or relishes and preserves.   We love it all!  Perhaps you would prefer to donate some baking ingredients (butter/sugar/fruit) and/or monetary donations for someone else to bake you your favourite cake?  Please leave any ingredients / money at the Church Office; or in the Church foyer (labelled “Baking Stall”) before Sunday 7 September please.  THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support!

Operation Christmas Child:  The shoe boxes have arrived! You are all invited to support this by providing goods or filling your own box or making a donation. Each box is to contain a fun toy, clothing, school supplies, hygiene item and a “wow” item for boys & girls ages 2-14 years. Please remember to include the transport cost of $12.50 if you fill your own box. Boxes are in the foyer to put the gifts in. Also some ideas for gifts. Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:

This is ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in the Hall at the Trinity Community Centre. This is for men and women. $3   donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. Timaru Presbyterian Women’s Lunch Group: 

Meeting will be held at Wai-iti Road Worship Centre on Wednesday 17 September at 12.30pm commencing with a shared Lunch.  Sales Table.

Guest Speaker:  Mr Stu Weir, Owner Operator Real Milk Timaru/Glenwillow Farm (Supplying top quality fresh unpasteurised milk to the Public).

Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully general sorts of items and can include the following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.
