Well, some years ago, Tonia Lee, Norma McRae and Nessie Home led the Friday lunch at the Chalmers Friendship Centre on Elizabeth Place during the winter months which consisted of delicious homemade Soups with a bread roll finishing with a piece of fruit and sweet treat. Many Chalmers Church people and others from the wider community enjoyed these lunches.With the Tuesday lunches currently on hold this will be a simple alternative that we can offer to you and the wider community. I have added the + (Plus) which is enjoying the company of those sharing the table with a “conversation starter” question that enables an easy conversation to flow.It is intended that the lunch would be on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month and cost a modest $5.
