Earthquake Appeal for the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu:

Vanuatu had a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that rocked Port Vila, Vanuatu on 17 December 2024.  Global Mission have offered to help with providing structural engineers to give building assessments.  We have two engineers who have agreed to donate their time for this purpose.

Global Mission is launching an earthquake appeal for the Presbyterian Church of    Vanuatu.  Funds can be banked into the Global Mission account: 02-0500-0086963-10 with the reference PCV Earthquake Appeal.

Please send an email to Katrina Graham:  katrina@presbyterian.org.nz  confirming the donation so a receipt can be emailed.

Alpine Presbytery Newsletter: 

Keep up to date on what is happening in our Alpine Presbytery.  A few copies of the   Newsletter are being placed in Foyers each week.  Pick up a copy, you might find something of interest in it.  If you are not on our email list and would like a copy emailed, please contact our office  phone 686 0981.

The Community Club:

Study Opportunities @ Connect College:

Two study opportunities available at Connect College this semester, taught by Dr Sean du Toit.

• Tuesday 4 March (A free night for people to come and check it out) classes on “Narrative of the First Testament”

Bible Society Dessert Evening: We will have our annual Dessert Evening on Friday 7 March 2025 at 7pm in the Church St Bible Chapel. Our speakers are Majors Stephen and Elisabeth Campkin from the Salvation Army who just came back from Fiji and will give us an update on the situation there.  Come and join us for an interesting evening. Cost: $ 10.00 pp or $ 25 a family. The money raised will be for Bibles in the heart languages of Pacific people.
