Mission Project: 

Last Sunday’s Bucket Mission collection raised $361.00 for Family Work’s ‘Child Psychology Service’. Thank you for your support.

New World Stickers: 

We are once again collecting New World Stickers for the Kitchen Aid glass storage containers that we will pass on to Family Works.  Please leave in both Church Foyers or the Church office.

Jam Session:

Meets on Wednesday 21 August.  7.00pm-8.30pm at St Stephens. If you play an     instrument and would like to play in the music group, come along.

Plant Sale—Saturday 14 September at the St Stephens Church complex:

Timaru Presbyterian Women Lunch Group:

The monthly meeting of the Lunch Group will be held on Wednesday 21 August at the Wai-iti Road Worship Centre starting at 12.30pm with a shared Lunch.  Sales Table.  Guest Speaker:  Mrs Sharon Leonard, Co-ordinator of The St Vincent de Paul Society Op Shop.  Sharon will be speaking on the various services the Society provides along with the running of their shop.  Items of clothing will be on display and modelled while Sharon is speaking.

Operation Christmas Child:

We would like to be part of this again this year.  You are all invited to support this by providing goods or filling your own box or making a donation.  Each box is to contain a fun toy, clothing, school supplies, hygiene item and a “wow” item for boys and girls in   ages 2-14 years.

Please remember to include the transport cost of $12.50 per box if you complete a box.  Boxes will be at each venue to put the goods in.  There will also be some ideas for gifts. In 2023, New Zealand sent 14,107 shoeboxes to Cambodia, Ukraine, Philippines, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.

Mission Group: Our fantastic knitting programme will finish at the end of August.  If your knitting is not finished by then, please put the garment in the food bank box when it has been completed and it will be forwarded to Family Works.
