Eatwell Fruit & Vege Co-op:

Market-fresh fruit & vegetables.  Packs $15 or $10.  Text or phone 022 123 3663 or Facebook: facebook.com/eatwelltimaru & message to order, for a pack each Thursday for pick up on the following Tuesday.

As you are aware fruit and vegetable prices are increasing, and the demand for budget priced food is on the rise. If you can help by donating any surplus fruit or vegetables from your garden the Eatwell team would be very appreciative.

The Community Club:

Tuesdays, 1.30-3.30pm at St Stephens for Cards 500 and Indoor Bowls.  New members welcome. Contact:  Marian ph 684 4351 or Dorothy ph 686 2265.

Trinity Community Garden needs you!!!!   We need people to take a turn to be at the gardens on a Tuesday 2.30pm. Weeding, planting, watering are the tasks and as we develop more garden beds, to help with the work and, we just need a few people to give 90 minutes of their time once a month!!!  Contact Helen if you can help ph 021 768 973.

Alpine Presbytery Newsletter: 

Keep up to date on what is happening in our Alpine Presbytery.  A few copies of the Newsletter are being placed on the table in Foyers each week.  Pick up a copy, you might find something of interest in it.  If you are not on our email list and would like a copy emailed, please contact our office  phone 686 0981.

We are a Bible-based bookshop located in Timaru.  We sell Bibles, books by NZ Authors, children’s Bibles and books, homeschooling resources, biographies and discipleship resources.

Family Works Food Bank: 

The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.

Mission Group – The last round of Harvest Table collections raised $193.30 for Family Work’s food bank. It is intended that this money be spent on meat items to supplement their food parcels. Thank you for helping to make this happen.  Harvest Table sales will resume again in late in September.
