AGM 26 November at Trinity:

Apologies –  Apologies should be to the   Parish Clerk before the Parish Council meeting on 1 November.

Information for AGM—Any information to be discussed at the AGM must be in to the Parish Clerk by Wednesday 8 November.

Nomination Forms:  These should be all signed and in to the Office by 12 noon on Wednesday 8 November.

Plant Sale grand total:  The Plant Sale made a grand total of $7,043.20.

Mission Project:  The  Mission Project for November will be raising funds for the Christmas angel project managed by Family Works.  Put your  coins aside and bring them along next Sunday.

Family Works Food Bank:  The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

  • Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
  • Hand cream and soap.
  • Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
  • Spreads
  • 750g or less blocks of cheese.

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:   This ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each    Thursday at 2pm in Room 1 at Trinity.  This is for men and women. $3 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. Trinity Community Garden needs you!!!!  We need people to take a turn to be at the    gardens on a Tuesday 2.30pm. Weeding, planting, watering are the tasks and as we develop more garden beds, to help with the work and, we just need a few people to give 90 minutes of their time once a month!!!  Contact Helen if you can help  ph 021 768 973.

Timaru District Choir is again presenting a great musical selection of Christmas music and carols. Supported by Guest   Artists “Sing Noel” is a presentation of the Christmas Musical “Let the Whole World Sing” by J Raney.  Supported by favourite and not so well known carols.  Come and join us on 19 November 2023 at 3pm for a wonderful afternoon of music followed by a late afternoon tea.  Hosted at Trinity Church 22 College Road, Timaru. Costs for adults $15, students $8 and under 12 years free
