Mission Project:  This morning we are raising funds to assist with the posting of Christmas Boxes. Join in our Bucket of fun.  Thank you for your donations.

New World Stickers:  Collecting again for Family Works. Please leave in both Church Foyers or at the Office.

Operation Christmas Child Boxes:  Just imagine bringing joy to a young person on Christmas day when they receive an Operation Christmas Box. This may be the first gift a child has ever received.  This parish will once again be supporting the project this year.

Each box is to contain:

• Something to wear,
• Something to play with,
• Something for school,
• Something to love,
• Something special
• Something for personal hygiene

for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. I

If you wish to fill a box please ensure you cover the transport cost.

Otherwise you can provide goods or a   donation towards the transport costs and place in the box in the foyer of each church.  Items are required by Sunday 15 October.  For further information contact Judith Ph 688 6004.

Boys & Girls Brigade:  Kindling available all year round, for sale $10 a sack.  Contact Fiona 688 0375 or see me at church.

Family Works Food Bank:  The Food bank gratefully receives all general sorts of items and can include the following:

• Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
• Hand cream and soap.
• Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
• Spreads
• 750g or less blocks of cheese.

Scissors:  Lost one pair of old but favourite scissors at the Plant Sale.  Please contact Murray at 686 1629.

College Road & Wai-iti Road Rosters for DATA & SOUND: We would like more Volunteers for these two positions. Training will be available. Please phone the office 686 0981.

Eatwell Fruit & Vege Co-op:  Market-fresh fruit & vegetables.  Packs $15 or $10. Text or phone 022 123 3663 or Facebook:  facebook.com/eatwelltimaru & message to order, for a pack each Thursday for pick up on the following Tuesday.

As you are aware fruit and vegetable prices are increasing, and the demand for budget priced food is on the rise. If you can help by donating any surplus fruit or vegetables from your garden the Eatwell team would be very appreciative.

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:   This ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in Room 1 at Trinity.  This is for men and women. $3 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated.
