After the service this morning there will be  a Congregation meeting to approve the 2023-2024 Budget.

Mission Project:   Sunday 3  September we are raising Funds for  Cyclone  Relief in Vanautu. Bring along your coins and join in the bucket of fun ..

Plant Sale, Saturday 16 September at St Stephen’s at 9am:  We are aiming to break our financial record, (set last year over $5,000), so please find a way to help us.  If you have small plants with roots, please pot them up and bring them along. We need good quality plants, so if there is a failure ,please just discard it.

We will need more helpers on the day- some of our regular helpers are not able to help again.

Whilst nurturing your seedlings for the plant sale, hope you have had a chance to look through your favourite recipes with the baked goods stall in mind?  If your baking skills are a little rusty, perhaps you might like to offer a monetary donation or baking ingredients

Trinity Community Garden needs you!!!!  We need people to take a turn to be at the    gardens on a Tuesday 3.30pm. Weeding, planting, watering are the tasks and as we develop more garden beds, to help with the work and, we just need a few people to give 90 minutes of their time once a month!!!  Contact Helen if you can help ph 021 768 973.

Alpine Presbytery Newsletter:  Keep up to date on what is happening in our Alpine Presbytery.  A few copies of the  Newsletter are being placed on the table in Foyers each week.  Pick up a copy, you might find something of interest in it.  If you are not on our email list and would like a copy emailed, please contact our office  phone 686 0981.

New World Stickers : Collecting again for  Family Works. Please leave in both Church Foyers or at the Office.

Church Life Survey:  This is a nationwide survey of church attenders, run every five years.  Please participate in the Church Life Survey. Our church is part of this nationwide survey of church attenders.

This is a confidential opportunity for you to have your say on the life of our church and be heard by our leaders. Can you take 10-15 minutes to fill it out by 27 August 2023?

The survey is available to any attender aged 15+ in our parish.

You can access the Survey by:

2. Via QR code on your smartphone. Posters are in the Church Foyers for you to scan the QR Code.
3. Via paper forms available in each church Foyer or the Church Office. Please place it in the Life Church Survey box when completed.

Rhythm Kids:  Meets at Trinity Hall every Tuesday during the school term from 10.00am—11.00am.  Contact Helen  684 6403 or 021 768 973.

Operation Christmas Child Boxes:  Just imagine bringing joy to a young person on Christmas day when they receive an Operation Christmas Box. This may be the first gift a child has  ever received.

This parish will once again be supporting the project this year. Each box is to contain   something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love,  something special and something for personal hygiene for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. If you wish to fill a box please ensure you cover the transport cost.

Otherwise you can provide goods or a donation towards the transport costs and place in the box in the foyer of each church.  For further information contact Judith Ph 688 6004.
