Family Works Food Bank:  Family Works thank us very much for our grocery items and  advise that the need is very great.  Therefore if we can keep our items up it would be greatly appreciated.  Some suggested items are:

  • Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
  • Hand cream and soap.
  • Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
  • Spreads
  • 750g or less blocks of cheese.

Operation Christmas Boxes:  Just imagine bringing joy to a young person on Christmas day when they receive an Operation Christmas Box. This may be the first gift a child has ever received.

This parish will once again be supporting the project this year. Each box is to contain something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love, something special and something for personal hygiene for boys and girls in ages             2-14 years. If you wish to fill a box please ensure you cover the transport cost.

Otherwise you can provide goods or a donation towards the transport costs and place in the box that will be in the foyer of each worship place next week. For further information contact Judith Ph 688 6004.
