Marmalade for Plant Sale Sales Table: Are you able to make some Marmalade? 2 large oranges or 3 small and 2 large lemons. And away one goes. Cup to cup of sugar. Secret to this brew I am making is that it has a lot of fruit. I do add a reasonable amount of water boil half an hour and then cup to cup of sugar. When it starts to froth up it is ready. Knitting Project: Today marks the end of our great knitting project for this winter season. Thanks to all our wonderful knitters – your response was truly amazing. If your current knitting isn’t quite finished, please put it in the food bank box when complete.
Operation Christmas Boxes: Just imagine bringing joy to a young person on Christmas day when they receive an Operation Christmas Box. This may be the first gift a child has ever received.
This parish will once again be supporting the project this year. Each box is to contain something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love, something special and something for personal hygiene for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. If you wish to fill a box please ensure you cover the transport cost. Otherwise you can provide goods or a donation towards the transport costs and place in the box that will be in the foyer of each worship place next week.
