Thought For The Week 18 December 2022

Christmas is almost upon us!I’m very much looking forward to our Christmas services:

• Heiligabend, 6pm on Sat 24th
• Candlelit Carols, 11:30pm on the 24th, both at Trinity
• Christmas Day service, 10am at St Stephens

I’ll be at all of these services, how about you?Unfortunately I’m going to have to miss the remembrance service in Trinity Chapel at 2:30 this afternoon, my prayers will be with Brent and everyone who gathers for this poignant moment together.I’ll also miss the Summer series at St. Stephens as I take a summer break. During the summer Andrea and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We will be celebrating together with friends on Friday 20th January at Trinity Community Centre, 7pm. You’re most welcome to join us as we see in the start of another 1/4 century. This Christmas we pray for joy in our hearts, hope in our God, love to forgive, and peace upon the earth. We pray for the blessings of your salvation on all people, Lord.Amen.Rory
