Mission Project: Next Sunday we are raising funds for Eatwell.  Put your coins aside and bring along next week.

Bible Society Cheese-roll fund raiser:  Distribution will be after church this morning.  Contact:  Evi 684 5399.

Plant Sale:  Saturday 17 September at St Stephens.  Now is the time to pot up those plants for the Plant Sale.

Our sales table at St Stephens is working well making money for the Plant Sale. Can you help by adding a tray of baking, Jam or preserves. Price up and leave on table . Contact:  Bev Ph 686 0858

Baking Sales Table:  Alongside the Annual Plant Sale planned for Saturday 17 September we will be running the popular Baking Sales Table.

Given the amazing array of goods we received last year from many talented   bakers and cooks .we would love you to “tempt our tastebuds” again with your favourite treats..

Perhaps you would prefer to donate some baking ingredients (butter/sugar/fruit) and/or monetary donations for someone else to bake your favourite slice?

No more bread tags after this week:  As you may have noticed many of the bread tags are now cardboard and recyclable. The bread tags for wheelchairs are finishing the collection on the 1 September so this week will be the last week.  Thanks to everyone who contributed to this!

Yoga for Seniors on Chairs:   This ‘not on the floor’ exercise programme meets each Thursday at 2pm in Room 1 at Trinity.  This is for men and women. $3.00 donation to assist with expenses is appreciated. I don’t know about you but it feels like a really long time since we have “gathered” together in this way in person. Geoff New will be joining us for the weekend and he will be facilitating a reflective space on the “Spirituality of Remembrance”. Alongside that we will also be hearing from a number of people involved in different projects and spaces around the Presbytery.

A reminder also that you don’t need to be an elder or ordained minister to come along to our Gatherings, anyone is welcome to join us.

Hanmer Springs on the 25th – 27th September Heather Simpson and Barbara       MacMillan will be leading a guided prayer retreat This will be based on the themes of Hunger and Thirst, with the key verse being Psalm 107:9. This is a wonderful opportunity to be taking some time out before we head into the Christmas season and Barbara and Heather are both qualified Spiritual Directors.

The guided retreat is open to anyone in leadership in your church or parish, so if you know of someone who might be keen to come along please let them know it’s happening.
