Combined Service: After the service this morning, please stay for a budget discussion, followed by a PIZZA LUNCH to raise funds for Christian World Service’s latest project, which is the prevention of exploitation of female workers in both work and boarding house situations in Sri Lanka. COST : A donation.

Bible Society Cheese-roll fund raiser Update:
Due to some members having COVID, All cheese rolls are now to be made on Saturday 27 Aug ready for distribution at church on Sunday 28.August.
Molenberg bread is a third option, but because it is more expensive and there are less slices per bread, it will be $1 more per doz. Prices: Normal white or brown bread: $7 per doz, $25 for 4 doz; Molenberg bread: $8 per doz and $30 for 4 doz.
Helpers in making the cheese‑rolls, would be welcome from 9am on Saturday 27 August at the St John’s Church Hall, Wai-iti Road.

Food Bank Items: Non-perishable food items are always a welcome donation. Other suggestions from Family Works, are:
- Shampoo, conditioner & Deodorants, for both men and women.
- Hand cream and soap.
- Items for children’s lunches may include: budget biscuits, muesli bars and small packets of potato chips that come in a large bag that include several flavours.
