AGM: Our Annual General Meeting will be held after the Combined Service at Trinity this morning.
Mission Project:: Total money raised last Sunday $303.10 for Westport Ministers’ Association flood recovery and support. Thankyou for your donations
Operation Christmas Boxes 2021: We would like to support this project again this year. Each box is to contain something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love, something special and something for personal hygiene for boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. You are all invited to support this by providing items as above or make a contribution towards travel costs which is $10 per box. If you wish to fill your own box please remember to include the transport cost of $10. A box will be in each foyer for you to put in the items or leave the donation. I will have a supply of the OCC boxes available soon. Unfortunately due to Covid there is not the same amount of time to collect the goods and boxes with final date being the 17 October. Presbyterian Women: Evening Group meet on Tuesday 12 October 7pm at Margaret’s home 37 Elizabeth St. Our speaker will be Rev. Sue Dickson. Enquiries to Linda 027 688 9170. All most Welcome.
Reflections: Meeting Mondays 11am at St Stephens. Finding new life in the Parables of Jesus. Join us for a six week series exploring God’s story and our stories through the parables of Jesus. Contact Helen ph 021 768 973 or 684 6403 and leave a message.
Bible Society Spring Safari: This will take place on Saturday 16 October. We will visit the Anglican Churches around Geraldine. We will meet at the Life Church car park at 12pm for car sharing and have a picnic lunch at St Stephen’s (Peel Forest) at 1pm. This is followed by the Church of the Holy Innocents, St Thomas’s and St Anne’s, before finishing for afternoon tea at St Mary’s in Geraldine.
Wet Weather option: Meet at 12.30pm at Life Church with lunch in your tummy and be at St Stephen’s (Peel Forest) at 1.30pm. Money raised will bring bibles to Syria, El Salvador and Eritrea.
Journey 21: Meets at C-Bay carpark, 9am, Sunday 17 October. The theme for October is: Fools and Dreamers—a reflection on the work of Hugh Wilson. All welcome. Contact: Ellen ph 027 772 3146.
Buy and Supply : will start up again on Sunday 17th. October. The money raised will be forwarded to Family Work’s for their ‘Grandparents helping Grandchildren’ programme. Please support this worthwhile project.
