Are you interested in hearing about persecuted Christians?  Mike Burrows, a representative from Open Doors, will be speaking at Gleniti Baptist Church, 58 Gleniti Rd, Timaru on Friday 14 February 2020 at 7pm. Come along and hear what God is doing amongst persecuted Christians. Wanting to join a choir that enjoys classical harmonies as well as more familiar tunes? We sing a wide    variety of music for all areas of life and enjoy choral music by Rutter, Handel, Mozart and so many more. The Timaru District Choir is a group that gathers to develop their music abilities and talents and to share this talent with the community. Over the last years we have sung with other choirs of Timaru and Geraldine and recently enjoyed having the New Zealand Male Choir sing at one of our concerts.The Timaru District Choir are about to start up again for the year from the 24th February. Our practice nights are on Monday nights from 7.15pm at Trinity Church on College Road, Timaru. Come along and see what we do.
