We will leave at 1.30pm for St Mary’s Esk Valley, then to St Patrick’s, the old Salvation Army Hall (now Calvary Church) and have afternoon tea at St  Augustine (Anglican). Cost $5 pp. Everybody is welcome.

Mission Group:- Food Bank—When you buy a supermarket “special” item perhaps you could buy two, one for the Food Bank.  Your donation doesn’t necessarily need to be a foodstuff item, it can be a cleaning product, or a toiletry item like toothpaste. These are very  much appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child:  We have a bin at each site for you to put in items for the    boxes.  Take time to have a look and read as there are some patterns and  suggestions of items each box is to contain:

  • something to wear,
  • something to play with,
  • something for school,
  • something to love,
  • something special
  • something for personal hygiene

For boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. If you want to fill your own box there are also   boxes at each site. Please remember to    include the $10 transport cost. The final date for items and return of completed  boxes is Sunday 13 October so we have time collate and deliver to the depot. For further information contact Judith ph 688 6004.

Countdown Supermarket Tiles:  Is there  anyone that goes to Countdown Supermarket and doesn’t want the tiles.  Could Susanne and myself have any spare tiles for a teaching resource.  Please see Fiona at Trinity Church service or phone 688 0375.

Morning Tea Helpers at St Stephens:  We require more people to go on the Roster at St Stephens.  If you can help please phone the Office ph 686 0981 or email:  oneoffice@timarupres.org.nz

Do your bread tags end up in the rubbish bin?   Instead, help save the environment by dropping them in the designated jar in the foyer.  Money raised will provide  wheelchairs.  See the Link for more Info
