AGM:  This will be held this morning at the end of the Combined Service at St Stephens starting at 10.30am.

Do your bread tags end up in the rubbish bin?   Instead, help save the environment by dropping them in the designated jar in the foyer.  Money raised will provide wheelchairs.  See the Link for more Info

 

Annual Report 2018-19 and Annual Performance report for our parish for the year ended 30 June, 2018 and year ended 30 June 2019:  Pick up a copy from the   table in the Foyer.

Yoga for Seniors. Meets at the Trinity Community Centre on Thursdays from 1.30pm – 2.30pm, followed by a cup of tea. This is for men and women and is not an ‘on the floor’ class.  Gold Coin Donation. Please contact Helen 684 6403 or 021 768 973 for further information.

Presbyterian Womens Lunch Group: Meets at Trinity 18 September at 12.30pm.
Note:  No finger food required.  Please bring an item for the Sales Table.  Guest Speaker:  Pavritha Ravi along with some Family members will entice us with some Indian Finger Food.  We have already had Pav speak to us  previously and is just a   delight.  In this instance there will be a $5 charge to go towards ingredients.  Ladies come along and share the experiences.  Contacts:  Alison 688 4317 or Dianne     686 0440. All Presbyterian Women are invited by the Association of Anglican Women to an afternoon at St Philip Church 124 Luxmoore Rd, 26 Sept, 2pm.  Speaker Ven Nicky Lee Chaplin from Christchurch.  Afternoon tea and sales table.  RSVP by 20 September to J Love 688 1374 or Liz Paisley 688 9370.

Winter Lunch:  Our next meal is this Tuesday 24 September.  We welcome diners to join us at St Stephens at 12noon for this 2 course meal. Cost of meal $10.  Please contact Bev Ph 686 1207 if you are intending to come.

Cake Stall:  Thank you for all the baking items, and monetary contributions provided, for the cake stall.  Very much appreciated—Sandra Hetherington.

Operation Christmas Child  We will be supporting the project again this year. Each box is  to contain:

  • something to wear,
  • something to play with,
  • something for school,
  • something to love,
  • something special
  • something for personal hygiene

For boys and girls in ages 2-14 years. The boxes from New Zealand generally go to Asia or Pacific Island country.

You are all invited to support this by providing items as above or make a contribution    towards transport costs which is $10 per box. If you wish to fill your own box please remember to include the transport cost of $10. A box will be in each foyer for you to put in the items or leave the donation. I will have a supply of the OCC boxes available soon. For further information contact Judith 688 6004.

The Collection of knitted and crocheted teddy bears for the Christchurch Neo-Natal unit has now finished.  A big thank you for those that supported this Miss Group activity.
