Mission Project this morning: Raising funds for ‘Christians Against Poverty’, an organisation committed to working with local churches to lift Kiwis out of debt and poverty.
Good Companions: Will meet Thursday 8 August, 2pm in St Stephens Lounge. Hermann Frank will speak on the wonderful limestone formations around South Canterbury. All welcome.

Mission Group:- Food Bank—When you buy a supermarket “special” item perhaps you could buy two, one for the Food Bank. Your donation doesn’t necessarily need to be a foodstuff item, it can be a cleaning product, or a toiletry item like toothpaste. These are very much appreciated.
Parish Council Nominations: Parish Council calls for nominations for 5 Parish Council members plus Parish Clerk. For further information, please see the Nomination Form on the table in the Foyer. Nominations need to be in by 21 August to the office.
Annual Reports: Please get your Annual Reports into the office by the 21 August.
Presbyterian Women’s Groups: St Mary’s Association of Anglican Women extends a warm invitation to your members to join them for their Hospitality Day, 2pm on Thursday 22 August at St Mary’s Hall, 24 Church Street. Timaru Combined Churches Prayer: Sunday 25 August, 7pm, Life Church, 134 Morgans Rd. ‘God’s heartache & our heartache, a call to prayer for Aotearoa’s rangatahi.’ New Zealand’s teen suicide rate (15-19) is the worst in the developed world, it is so high it raises the global average (2017 statistics). We encourage people to come along and be part of this. A Timaru Christian Ministers Association Event.
Winter lunch Group: Members of our Lunch Group came and discussed with me the price of our meal. They felt the price of $7 did not reflect the quality of the meal we serve. As a result starting from our next meal Tuesday 27 August our meals will be $10. Bev Ph 6861207

Yoga for Seniors. Pavithra Ravi is a trained yoga teacher specialising in Yoga for seniors and is holding classes at Trinity Community Centre on Thursdays from 1.30pm – 2.30pm, followed by a cup of tea.
