Mission Project next Week: We are raising funds for ‘Christians Against Poverty’, an organisation committed to working with local churches to lift Kiwis out of debt and poverty.
Annual Reports: Please get your Annual Reports into the office by the 21 August.
Fish and chip” baby singlets Earlier this year Presbyterian Women’s Group had speakers: Marg Stocker and Colleen Winnington from the Geraldine tramping club talking about the clubs work with the Sherpa people in a remote area of Nepal over the last 10 years. The singlets for the babies is FISH a way we can help. If you would like to be a knitter too ( between wee teddies ) the pattern – all knitted in one piece is on the table in the Foyer. Marg returns to Nepal late August. These singlets will be collected on the 18 August.
Parish Council Nominations: Parish Council calls for nominations for 5 Parish Council members plus Parish Clerk. For further information, please see the Nomination Form on the table in the Foyer. Nominations need to be in by 21 August to the office.
The Eatwell team would like to thank all the people that recently responded to our request for more cloth bags to hold fruit and vegetables. This was very much appreciated.

Zumba Gold Exercises: Do come along and enjoy exercise and fun. Wednesdays weekly at St Stephen’s Hall at 1pm.
Plant Sale: At Stephens on 14 September starting at 9am. Flower plants, vegetable plants, cake sales, plus other usual stalls and some surprises. More details later. Contact: Murray 686 1629.
Early Churches in and around Timaru: Selling these books for $20. $10 which will stay with TPP the other $10 goes towards the Hamilton’s costs. A sample is in the foyer. Call into the office to purchase.

Yoga for Seniors. Pavithra Ravi, a Rhythm Kids mum, is a trained yoga teacher specialising in Yoga for seniors and has offered to run classes at Trinity Community Centre on Thursdays from 1.30pm – 2.30pm, followed by a cup of tea. This is for men and women. Would you like to attend these classes? This is not an ‘on the floor’ class. Gold Coin Donation. CWCI Annual Movie Event – (Christian Women Communicating International)
Ladies Winter Movie night. 2nd August at 7pm. $10.00pp. Wilson Street Baptist Hall, 17 Wilson Street. Munchies and light supper provided.
2nd Greatest is a Christian Drama inspired by the incredible true stories set in Golden Colorado about how the “Golden Rule” changed a community forever!
We will also have Tamara Hughes, a new believer, sharing on Gods amazing love in her life and what He has done for her.
