Hospice Awareness Week:
As you are aware sometimes people are reluctant to talk about death and dying making end of life difficult for patients and loved ones. We are keen to see conversations about dying grow and to provide support and education around these topics. Over the course of three days we are offering a morning and early evening session on: Lets talk about dying (particularly looking at some of the common myths around death, palliative care and grief), Supporting yourself and others in grief, and advanced care planning. Sessions will run for approximately 1 ½ hours and will have an element of participation/interaction and discussion. Light refreshments will be served at all sessions. In addition we would like to invite you to tour the Hospice at 11:30 and to join us as we burn the cards form the Farmers Tree of remembrance Campaign on Thursday 16th at 12 noon. To assist in catering registration for these events is via phone (03)6877670 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
